The LABD2M (Software Engineering and Mobile Devices Laboratory) is a research laboratory affiliated with the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). Our mission is to conduct high-quality research in Software Engineering and mobile technologies, educating researchers and professionals capable of addressing the challenges of modern software development.
We develop techniques, methods, tools, and resources that contribute to the construction, maintenance, and evolution of software systems, ranging from web applications and distributed systems to mobile applications and emerging technologies. We strive to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications through collaborations with industry and other research institutions.
We publish our research in leading national and international journals and conferences, while also providing open-source tools, benchmarks, datasets, and replication packages to promote transparency and reproducibility in scientific research. We are also committed to fostering knowledge transfer between the university and society.
